RVS Pumps was founded in 1998 by German born mechanical and electronic engineer Siegfried Langosch when he bought HyDrive Vacuum Pumps Pty Ltd. Hydrive had been manufactured vacuum pumps for over 30 years. Sigi’s aim was to update and improve the current 2 models Hydrive had while continuing to provide ultra reliable severe duty vacuum pumps especially for the Australian mining and liquid waste industries at the time.
Over the years Sigi designed 6 new models which are all still in production today.
In 2019 RVS Pumps introduced there VB350 Tri-lobe Blower. Plans are in motion to add more models to this range.
In October 2023 RVS Pumps Pty Ltd became RVS Pumps & Equipment Pty Ltd, when Sig’s son Roland and his wife Sonia took over the business.
Roland and Sonia look forward to continuing the RVS Pumps tradition of bring you hand built, reliable, heavy duty vacuum pumps suited for our Australian conditions.
